Volunteers play a HUGE role in the Foundation's success! Do you enjoy chatting on the phone? Have a passion to be creative? Interested in some light office work? Are you a born organizer keen to help at an event? And – most important of all – would nothing make you happier than to be part of our team? Then this is what you’ve been waiting for and you can truly make a difference at our hospital!
With staff support, committee volunteers also plan and organize our three annual events; Walk for Health, Delta Health Golf Classic and Moonlight Gala. At Gala alone, we rely on over 60 volunteers to keep the evening running smoothly. In 2009, the Moonlight Gala raised over $250,000 towards the makeover of OR #3 and we just couldn’t do that without your help.
