South Coast Casuals Evening of Dinner and Fashions on October 19 at the Beach Grove Golf raised over $4,000 each for the Delta Hospital Foundation and breast cancer research in British Columbia.
South Coast Casuals owners Bill, Tracey and Jill McKnight, were pleased to present $4,010 to Neil Corbett, Communications Coordinator of the foundation. Corbett, along with Executive Director Teresa Cooper, volunteered to model at the event and were excited to take part.
“It’s a real pleasure to help out at this well organized and fun event. The venue was just beautiful,” said Corbett. “The McKnight’s and their staff do an absolutely fabulous job and we really appreciate their ongoing support.”
Guests of this year’s sold-out fashion show were treated to a variety of fall and holiday ensembles. The proceeds raised from tickets, silent auction and 50/50 sales will be used towards the refurbishment of Operating Room #3 at Delta Hospital. With over 6,200 day surgery procedures performed at the hospital each year, the addition of a 3rd fully functional OR will greatly help alleviate surgical wait times.
