It was a great day for a golf tournament with proceeds going to the Delta Hospital Foundation. Century Group George Hodgins Memorial Golf Tournament, held on September 10 at the Tsawwassen Golf and Country Club, graciously donated all funds raised to the hospital.
Sean Hodgins, President of Century Group was pleased to present a cheque for $16,588 to Teresa Cooper, Executive Director of the Foundation. Long time supporters of the hospital, Century Group and the Hodgins family continue to support Delta Hospital through the annual charity tournament. Century Group was the presenting sponsor of the Foundation’s Moonlight Gala, held at Roddick’s barn in September.
With Century Group’s support, the event raised over $250,000 towards the refurbishment of the third Operating Room. This essential upgrade was urgently needed to help accommodate more than 6,200 day surgeries performed annually at Delta Hospital. |
