Lois Wilkinson was elected as chair of the Delta Hospital Foundation board for 2009-10 at the group's annual general meeting late last month.
Wilkinson is a longtime Delta resident and has been active in the community as a board member for Envision Financial and through her administrative work with both Delta and Surrey school districts.
Stephen Millen will remain on the board as past-chair. Millen was deeply thanked by the foundation for his exemplary leadership over the past several years that saw the hospital's reinstatement of acute care status and the addition of a CT scanner.
Board members elected to executive positions for 2009-10 were Keith McGee as vice-chair and Allan Baydala as treasurer. The remaining board members are Kevin Brennan, Eileen Campbell, Bruce Fougner, Doug Miller, Margo Peerless, Sarah Toigo and Bruce Warren. Stepping down from the board after 10 dedicated years of service, the maximum years one can serve, was Frank Becir. |
